And then we applied for the mortgage.

We jumped through every hoop, submitted every document, dotted every i and crossed every t. And then we waited. Every day the mortgage lender said the underwriters would respond soon.

So every day we woke up and said,

Eventually we received our approval and closed on our house, but we will never forget the anxiety of that experience.
